WEST TISBURY, Massachusetts – February 18, 2013

Radikal Therapeutics today announced that the Company has been joined by Dr. Zsuzsanna Zsengeller, who will assume responsibility for histology and immunohistochemical pathophysiology studies in various rodent and large animal experimental disease models. Dr. Zsengeller also serves as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School in the Division of Molecular Medicine, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, where she studies inflammation, oxidative stress, and related signaling pathways involved in kidney disease. Dr. Zsengeller has an extensive background in immunohistochemistry and related techniques, gained during her Research Fellowships at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and applied these to her study of signaling mechanisms in lung inflammation, both in Cincinnati and at Harvard Medical School. This work involved, inter alia, mechanisms of adenovirus- and hyperoxia- induced inflammation, and the study of Toll-Like receptors. In addition, Dr. Zsengeller established and ran the histology section at Inotek Pharmaceuticals Corporation, working on mediators of oxidative and nitrosative stress, including PARP, in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and numerous other diseases.
